Originally from New England, I’ve found a new home and inspiration in sunny Florida, where I now decorate palm trees for Christmas—complete with a light-up pink flamingo lawn ornament! My artistic journey is deeply rooted in the rich memories of my New England upbringing, which often find their way into my paintings. Florida’s fiery sunsets and stunning beaches have also sparked fresh creativity in me.
As an award-winning pastel artist from “many moons ago,” I’ve expanded my repertoire to include acrylic painting. I love working with acrylics for their versatility and easy cleanup, making them perfect for capturing the vibrant sunrises and sunsets I adore. Beyond painting, I enjoy upcycling—transforming empty wine bottles into unique pieces of art.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married for over 30 years and am a proud mother to a wonderful daughter and son-in-law. My family also includes two dogs and four cats, all of whom bring joy and inspiration into my life every day.
