There’s nothing like a pretty floral arrangement to pick your spirits up! My inspiration was just that. I’ve been getting some lovely bouquets from my husband and daughter and I thought I would paint one. I love peonies so I made them the star of the painting. They always signal the start of spring to me. My sister has a planting of them that always gives her plenty of flowers to create her own peony arrangements with Japanese Iris. Where I live in FL you can grow either of these plants. But I can paint them! This painting lends itself to any decor and would hang well in various parts of the home. Whether it’s a hallway or your living room, it will be sure to a touch of brightness and color. I hope you enjoy my painting!
